THIS EVENT IS BROUGHT TO YOU BY YAMAHA BLU CRU AND REDBUD! All classes are for Yamaha motorcycles only.

There are classes for every Yamaha motocross bike, 50cc to 450cc, beginners to experts. The racing format is 3 motos over 2 days (like a Loretta’s Regional). The 50cc classes will race on the 50 track; all others will race on the big track.
Check the class list carefully and let us know if you have questions.
IMPORTANT TRAVEL INFO FOR THE WEEKEND!
PLEASE CHECK DETOUR ROUTES RIGHT BEFORE YOU LEAVE! Exits are opening and closing weekly. We’ll drive the routes Wednesday morning and post an update.
HOTELS in the South Bend / Mishawaka / Elkhart, Indiana areas (south of the track) are very expensive due to Notre Dame graduation. Hotels north of the track in Michigan are about the same distance (maybe closer) and may be a better option. Try the links below:

GATE ENTRANCE HOURS & PRICES
The South Entrance on Red Bud Trail is the only entrance for the weekend.
Gate opens at noon Friday and stays open through Sunday (including overnights)
Gate fee for all racers, and for spectators age 12 & up:
$40 | Arriving Friday, good through Sunday.
$30 | Arriving Saturday, good through Sunday.
$15 | Sunday
No charge for ages 11 & under if not racing. No charge for camping.
Cash and credit cards are accepted at the gate, signup, transponders and concession stand.
YAMAHA BIKE DEMOS AND “LEARN TO RIDE”
Coming Saturday for one of these programs? You’ll buy a 2-day wristband for $30. Stop at a gate booth on the way out and we’ll collect your wristband and refund $15. (Or keep the band if you’re returning Sunday.)
Schedule for both programs: SATURDAY 10am – 3pm, SUNDAY 10am – 2pm
Learn to Ride is located at the Yamaha truck next to the gray barn near the night track.
New model DEMOS of all Yamaha Off-Road bikes (50cc – 450cc) are happening on the night track, Saturday from 10am-3pm, and Sunday from 10am-2pm. BYO helmet and gear.
RACE PROGRAM
3 motos over 2 days. We expect to get through the first 2 rounds Saturday and the final round on Sunday.
The event is open to anyone with a Yamaha!
You can REGISTER ONLINE or at the track for your class(es).
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Registration Hours (you must check in with Yamaha before coming to RedBud Registration):
Friday | 3pm – 5pm
Saturday | 7am – 10am
All riders must check in at the track!
- Register with Yamaha first (you can’t miss their semi and tent on Vendor Row);
- Go to the MMXT trailer behind Registration (facing Yamaha tent) to pick up a transponder.
- Big track only; 50cc riders can skip this step.
- Rental fee is $15 (per racer, not per class).
- Bring credit card for security deposit.
- Bring your transponder to a the Registration building to sign up or check in with RedBud.
3 OPTIONS FOR PARENTS OR LEGAL GUARDIANS TO REGISTER A MINOR:
- REGISTER ONLINE and use the electronic release in the Trackside Registration system. Enter each parent’s name and email address; both parents complete the waiver process. Don’t miss the last step: verifying the email each parent will receive! This completes the waiver process. … OR …
- Use this SMARTWAIVER link for each parent to complete a waiver, including the email confirmation at the end. … OR …
- Both parents and the rider come to Registration at the track to fill out and sign the Minor & Parental Consent Waiver.

Three SUPERFINALE classes top the list, giving youth riders a chance to join Yamaha Team USA at the Motocross of Nations this year at Ironman!
Team USA will competing with SuperFinale racers from Europe, Australia, Canada, Japan and more for top honors.
Classes eligible for the Superfinale:
- YZ125: Ages 13 to 16 (Riders must be age 13-16 at the time of the SuperFinale)
- YZ85: Ages 11 to 14 (Riders must be age 11-14 at the time of the SuperFinale)
- YZ65: Ages 8 to 12 (Riders must be age 8-12 at the time of the SuperFinale)

MORE INFORMATION: Camping, bike wash, water, food concessions, general rules
Camping is available on site for no additional charge, no reservation necessary. There’s plenty of room!
Dry camping only; no hookups sites. We suggest filling with water shortly before you arrive, but there are water fill stations throughout the pit area if needed. Locations: along the roadway (inside Gate 5) in the pits; along the west fence line past the bike wash (inside Gate 6) in the pits.
A large bike wash is located just inside Gate 6 along the west tree line. It’s big enough for 40 bikes, so there’s plenty of room. Water provided; byo power washer.
Concession stand is located at the base of the announcers tower on the track infield (through the tunnels). Open Saturday and Sunday from breakfast on. They typically open at 7am daily. They also sell ice.
Friendly pets are welcome, on a leash, please!
No glass containers, please.
Be sure to check the pit vehicle rules before you load something you can’t use!
PIT VEHICLE POLICY
NOT PERMITTED:
- Pit bikes, ATVs, scooters, motorcycles of any type or size
- Throttle e-bikes you don’t have to pedal
- Stacycs
- 1-wheels
Under age 18: Pedal bikes only. Pedal-assist e-bikes are ok, but not bikes with a throttle.
Adults, ages 18 & up may use the following.
- golf cart
- side by side (not the lifted, loud exhaust race buggies)
- pedal bike or pedal-assist e-bikes
Please note:
- No bikes, carts or side-by-sides are permitted on the track infield (through the tunnels).
- A licensed scooter or motorcycle cannot be used as a pit bike.
- If needed, please come to Registration to inquire about a handicap sticker.
