LORETTA LYNN’S MIDEAST AREA QUALIFIER WEEKEND – HOW DOES IT WORK?
We’re combining a Loretta Lynn’s MidEast Area Qualifier with District 14 points classes. SATURDAY and SUNDAY are separate events, you can race either day, or both days. You can race whether you’re trying to qualify or not.
The results posted on RedBud’s page will be different from the ones on the MX Sports page. Riders who did not sign up to qualify in a class will be omitted from the MX Sports results. So if you finished 7th in your class, and 3 riders ahead of you were not trying to qualify, you got 4th in the MX Sports results. Check the class listings in the window at registration. Rider names with an asterisk (*) next to them have turned in a qualifying form. No asterisk? That rider will not count as far as MX Sports is concerned.
There may be riders in your qualifier class that don’t exactly fit in the class. There may be mod bikes on Saturday, or a rider in an age class that’s a year off the age range, for example. Those riders who don’t fit should not be trying to qualify. If there’s more than a gate full in any class, we will split out the riders not trying to qualify and make it a separate class if it avoids creating divisions.
Friday practice is not mandatory, and is weather-permitting. Register at the track. Friday events could be cancelled if weather is a concern and running it might adversely affect Saturday track conditions. These decisions are often last minute by nature.
SATURDAY RACING: Loretta Lynn’s qualifying classes, District 14 classes and non-points classes
SUNDAY RACING: Loretta Lynn’s qualifying classes, District 14 classes and non-points classes
Note: there are no ATV classes this weekend due to the extra classes.
Need information on the Loretta Lynn Program classes, rules, what day your class qualifies or anything else “Loretta’s”? Check the MX SPORTS page.
You must purchase, complete and return a Loretta’s qualifier form for each class you wish to qualify for prior to racing. Cost is $15 per class (in addition to the race fee).
Forms are available at the track, at registration.
Gate opens at 6pm Thursday and stays open all weekend, including overnights.
You can pull into the lanes and wait as early as 5:30pm, but please obey the NO PARKING signs along the road outside the gate entrance!
Rigs parked on the shoulder make us very unpopular with our neighbors, Buchanan Twp and the police!
Gate fee for all racers, and for spectators age 12 & up. Our gates are open all night for your convenience. Daily rates change at 6am. (That is, Thursday price lasts until 6am Friday.)
*$40 | Thursday price for a weekend wristband

*Note: The D14 50cc 4-8 Open Class will be on the 50 track Saturday due to the number of motos. We’ll run it on the big track Sunday if possible.
* As for the 50cc classes on the big track, we always add the disclaimer, “Weather Permitting”. Those classes would only move to the 50 track if weather and conditions forced the change.
Race fee $40/class. Cash or credit cards accepted at registration (plus 3% convenience fee for cards).
Loretta’s fee $15/class. This is required for each class you’re trying to qualify for. It does not apply to non-qualifying classes, or riders not attempting to qualify in a particular class.
