HOW DOES IT WORK?
FRIDAY PRACTICE IS FOR AREA QUALIFIER RACERS ONLY! There will also be shorter practices Saturday and Sunday mornings before racing begins.
No ATVs this weekend; bike classes only.
SATURDAY and SUNDAY are separate events, you can race either day, or both days. You can race whether you’re trying to qualify or not.
If you want to qualify, you must complete and pay for the MX Sports form BEFORE your first moto. We cannot register you for qualifying after you race!
The results posted on RedBud’s page will be different from the ones on the MX Sports page. Riders who did not sign up to qualify in a class will be omitted from the MX Sports results. Example: if you finished 7th in your class, and 3 riders ahead of you were not trying to qualify, you’re 4th in the MX Sports results. Check the class listings in the window at registration. Rider names with an asterisk (*) or “Q” next to them have turned in a qualifying form. No * or Q? That rider will not count in the MX Sports results.
There may be riders in your class that don’t exactly fit in the Loretta’s class: a Mod bike in a Limited class, or a 12-year-old in 13-15 class, for example. Riders and/or bikes that don’t fit the Loretta’s class specs should not be trying to qualify; please ask at Registration if you think someone is marked as qualifying that shouldn’t be.
If possible when qualifiers are needed, we’ll split riders qualifying into a separate moto to avoid creating divisions.
PIT VEHICLE POLICY:
ADULTS (age 18 & up; be prepared to show ID) may use a golf cart or utility side by side. Those are the only motorized pit vehicles permitted.
AGES 17 & Under: pedal bicycles only.
NO: 1-wheels, Surrons (Class II e-bikes), or any other motorized vehicle. Licensed motorcycles may not be used as pit vehicles.
FRIDAY PRACTICE is part of the race weekend but is not mandatory; it’s weather-permitting. Friday events could be cancelled if weather is bad, or if running it might adversely affect Saturday track conditions. These decisions are often last minute by nature.

You must purchase, complete and return a Loretta’s qualifier form for each class you wish to qualify for prior to racing. Cost is $20 per class IN ADDITION TO THE RACE FEE. This fee is forwarded directly to MX Sports.
Forms are available at the track, at registration.
Gate Information
Gate opens at 6pm Thursday and stays open all weekend, including overnights.
You can pull into the lanes and wait as early as 5:30pm, but please obey the NO PARKING signs along the road outside the gate entrance!
Rigs parked on the shoulder make us very unpopular with our neighbors, Buchanan Twp and the police!
GATE FEES for all racers, and for spectators age 12 & up. Our gates are open all night for your convenience. All wristbands are good through Sunday.

Registration/Practice/Race Info
Friday practice starts at 11:00am. Saturday and Sunday short practice sessions start at 9:00am with racing immediately following.
If you register online, you still need to check-in at Registration at the track! Stop at the MMXT trailer first if you need to rent a transponder. Once you have one, bring the number with you to Registration.
Registration Hours:
Thursday | 7pm – 9pm
Friday | 7:30am – 12pm (for Friday Practice) / 1pm – 7 pm for Saturday Race
Saturday | 7am – 9:30am for Saturday race / Afternoon registration for the Sunday race; time will be announced at the track.
Sunday | 7am – 9:30am for Sunday race.
OPTIONS FOR PARENTS OR LEGAL GUARDIANS TO REGISTER A MINOR:
- REGISTER ONLINE and use the electronic release in the Trackside Registration system. Enter each parent’s name and email address; both parents complete the waiver process, including the email confirmation at the end … OR …
- Use the SMARTWAIVER link (coming soon) for each parent to complete the waiver process, including the email confirmation at the end … OR …
- Both parents and the rider, come to Registration at the track to fill out and sign the Minor & Parental Consent Waiver.
CLASSES
See online registration for list of classes on each track, each day.
*Note: The D14 50cc 4-8 Open Class will race on the 50 track both days.
* The 50cc classes on the big track come with the disclaimer: “Weather Permitting”. Those classes would only move to the 50 track if weather and conditions force a change.
Race fee $50/class. If you’re not trying to qualify, this is the only race fee.
Loretta’s fee $20/class. This is required for each class you’re trying to qualify for. YOU MUST TURN IN AND PAY FOR THE LORETTA’S FORM BEFORE YOU RACE in order to attempt to qualify.
TRANSPONDERS REQUIRED FOR ALL BIG TRACK CLASSES. Rentals and transponder scoring are provided by Laptimes USA. Rental fee is $25. (You can use your own MyLaps transponder if you have one with an active subscription). Pick up your transponder BEFORE you check in or register. Bring a credit card (or cash) for $125 security deposit plus rental fee; security deposit will only be charged if you don’t return the transponder. The LapTimes USA red trailer office is located behind the signup building.
AMA membership required for all racers. Save time at the track and JOIN AMA ONLINE! You can join at the track if needed. Full membership is $49.
The following discounted full memberships are available at the track but NOT online: Youth racer membership (age 11 and under) – $29. Family membership (for racers who live at the same address) – $98. Please note you cannot race with an Associate Membership.
No charge for camping. No RV hookups available. Pets must be on a leash.
