ABOUT THIS EVENT

THIS EVENT IS BROUGHT TO YOU BY YAMAHA BLU CRU AND REDBUD!  All classes are for Yamaha motorcycles only, and you must register on the Blu Cru page first.  (Once you register, Yamaha will send you a link for RedBud’s online race registration.)

Here’s more information from Yamaha.

There are classes for every Yamaha motocross bike, from a PW50 and up, beginners to experts. The racing format is 3 motos over 2 days (like a Loretta’s Regional).  The 50cc classes will race on the 50 track; all others will race on the big track.

Check the class list carefully and let us know if you have questions.

IMPORTANT TRAVEL INFO FOR THE WEEKEND!

Make sure you check the detour routes around road construction in the area RIGHT BEFORE YOU LEAVE! New construction areas are popping up every week. We’ll post the latest info we have leading up to the event.

HOTELS
in the South Bend / Mishawaka / Elkhart, Indiana areas (south of the track) are very expensive due to Notre Dame graduation.  Hotels north of the track in Michigan are about the same distance (maybe closer) and may be a better option. Try the links below:

RACE CLASSES

Three SUPERFINALE classes top the list, giving youth riders a chance to join Yamaha Team USA at the Motocross of Nations this year at Ironman!

Team USA will have the opportunity to take home top honors while competing with SuperFinale racers from Europe, Australia, Canada, Japan and more.

Classes eligible for the Superfinale:

  • YZ125: Ages 13 to 16 (Riders must be age 13-16 at the time of the SuperFinale)
  • YZ85:   Ages 11 to 14 (Riders must be age 11-14 at the time of the SuperFinale)
  • YZ65:   Ages 8 to 12 (Riders must be age 8-12 at the time of the SuperFinale)

RACE FORMAT

Every class is a 3-moto race format.  All three motos count toward your overall finish, with the last moto breaking any ties.  Ideally, the first 2 motos for each class would race Saturday, leaving one round to finish up on Sunday.  Regardless, wherever we leave off in the race order Saturday is where racing will resume on Sunday after a short practice.

Practice starts at 9am Saturday with racing immediately following.
Practice starts at 8am Sunday with racing immediately following.
