THIS IS NOT AN OPEN ENTRY EVENT (including Friday practice). Please read on.

You must first compete at 1 of the 8 MIDEAST AREA QUALIFIERS in order to enter the Regional practice and race at RedBud.  See the Qualifier Schedule HERE.

At an Area Qualifier, you must have paid for and turned in an MX Sports entry form for each class you want to ride.

There will be qualifiers in many classes at the Regional.  We’ll run 2 qualifiers and 1 LCQ for these classes, and the qualifiers count as your first moto finish.  (See Loretta’s Supplemental Rules for more info.)  There are 8 Area Qualifiers, and the top 9 from each are eligible to enter the Regional from each.  That’s 72 possible entries per class.

There could be a rare exception, but generally we won’t take an alternate if it would create qualifiers in a class.  If the guaranteed entries are already more than a full gate, we’ll accept up to 72 entries per class.

MORE RACER INFORMATION

ALTERNATES should sign up and practice as if they will be racing.  Once signup closes Saturday morning, we will place alternates and make announcements as each class is finalized.  Check in at Registration after your Saturday practice.

RIDERS MEETING will be held Saturday morning at the infield announcers tower shortly before practice starts.  The referee and track personnel will be on hand with important information, and to answer questions.  The meeting will be broadcast over the P.A. system; riders are responsible for the information given.

RESULTS should always be checked at Registration! They’re posted on the south window, facing the racetrack.  Online Timing and Scoring results are NOT official!

If your class has qualifiers you should check twice, and once more before leaving the track!  Why? Here’s an example: Results show you in the last qualifying spot. Then a rider comes up and says he’s not on the list, and realizes his transponder fell off.  We check the hand scores, find and insert him into the results – and you just got bumped to the LCQ! If you’ve already left the track, you lost your chance to ride the LCQ.

MORE FACILITY INFORMATION

CAMPING
is available on site; there’s plenty of room for any size rig.  There are no hookup sites.

There are plenty of water fill stations (no hookups). Locations:
1) Fenced water taps are spaced along the north/south drive from Gate 5 to the staging area
2) All along the west chain link fence in the pits (along the woods line).

A large bike wash is located along the west tree line inside the chainlink fence, just inside Gate 6.  There’s a water supply, hoses to connect to your power washer, and room for 40 bikes at a time.

A service truck will pump RVs Friday and Saturday evenings for a fee, after they service the porta-potties.  You’ll need to get their attention and ask them to come to your site.

Friendly pets are welcome and must be on a leash; please clean up after them.

Bicycles may NOT be inside the track fence.  You’re welcome to walk the track before and after Friday practice, before Saturday and Sunday practice, and after Saturday racing.  You can also see most of the track from the spectator infield.  PAY ATTENTION! THERE WILL BE EQUIPMENT ON THE TRACK AND WATER TRUCK ROADS DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS.
