EARLY VIP INFORMATION

Saturday Arrival

You can enter the facility from either RedBud Trail (east) or Main Street (West).  The gates are almost directly across from each other as the crow flies, about a mile apart, just around the country block.

Getting in

Remember, a VIP Pass is an add-on to General Admission.  If you need to add a G.A. ticket, we can add it to your order before you get here, or you can buy at the track.  (Email [email protected] if you’d like us to add anything to your order.)

If you’re camping, you won’t need a VIP Parking pass.  Otherwise, just show your VIP ticket at the entrance to receive a VIP hangtag parking pass.  It’s good every day at the event, but there’s only a designated VIP Parking area on Saturday.

There are 3 track entrances on Saturday: Gates A and C on Red Bud Trail open at 6:30am; Gate D on Main Street opens at 7:00am.

Gate A is the south entrance on Red Bud Trail, with the RedBud tower signs:

From Gate A, you can drive to the VIP parking area at the front of the field labeled “DAILY PARKING” on the map.  If you’re coming from the north and enter through Gate C instead of A, it’s not a big deal.  Show your VIP ticket, get your hangtag and they’ll try to direct you as close as possible to the front of the lot.  Either way, you’ll exit out Gate C at the end of the day.

The Gate D entrance is on Main Street;  VIP Parking is near the front of the lot.  You’ll exit the same way you came in.

The Saturday pro track area entrance is directly below the “DAILY PARKING” label on the map.  You’ll either buy tickets or get your online tickets scanned, get wristbands, and enter the track area.

Checking in

If you’re at the track Friday, you can check in early at the VIP tent from 3:00 – 5:00pm.
The tent will open at 7:30am Sunday for check-in before practice gets started.

Once checked in, you’ll have a VIP lanyard and hard card and a pit pass wristband.  You can enter the pro pits from 9am until 12pm.  Lunch will be delivered back at the VIP tent by 1pm.  We’re not sure what time the Lawrence brothers will be stopping in, but we’ll let you know on raceday.  They’ve been shipping banners and some mystery boxes all week.  We don’t know what they’re up to, but it should be fun!

Take your lanyard and hard card to pick up your RedBud brand t-shirt from the RedBud store, directly outside the finish line tunnels.  (This is separate from the MotoTees trailers.)  If you prefer, you can choose something other than a t-shirt.  (We don’t have toddler sizes tees for the little ones under age 6; we picked up a few things for them to play with while at the VIP tent.)

Below are some pics of the VIP tent this past week.  Tent was installed Friday and Saturday; video wall was installed Tuesday; tables, chairs and the rest will be set up Thursday.  The video wall is huge at 14′ x 7′!  (We opted not to add sound to the live racing feed.  You’ll be next to the announcers tower and hearing 2 different audio feeds all day didn’t seem appealing.)

Your hosts

May LaRocco and Paula Dervin, along with their kids and grandkids, have hosted the VIP tent since its inception.  They set the bar high; we miss and appreciate them!  You’ll be in good hands with the new crew: Chuck and Cindy Hamilton and their daughter, Alex / brothers Al and Kenny Hunt / and Abby Kirkpatrick.  They’re all members of long time riding and racing families and great friends of RedBud.  Fun fact: Chuck Hamilton is the creator of the RedBud logo, originally done in his college years.  He’s a retired graphic artist now, but his work can still be found throughout the facility.
