There are some BIG changes for 2009.
ALL PRO RACING IS ON SATURDAY, JULY 4TH!!! No qualifying the day before, no pro racing on Sunday. The entire National Motocross series has changed to a Saturday pro schedule in order to obtain a better TV package. RedBud's round will be live on NBC Saturday.
Obviously this means some pretty big changes to the weekend format; but it's still 4thof July weekend and we're still having a big party! Here's what the weekend looks like so far:

ALL PRO RACING IS ON SATURDAY, JULY 4TH!!!
If you're looking for the one-day pro ticket, that will be Saturday. If you'd like to watch the pros and enjoy the weekend festival, there will be activities Friday and Saturday nights. If you want to hit the track yourself, there are amateur practice and racing days on Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
Amateur Racers - For the first time EVER, amateurs will be riding the full pro track AFTER the pros.* The big names race it Saturday and it's all yours Sunday! * Most classes will run the entire pro course layout.
Campers - By popular demand, there's a change to the pet policy for 2009. Small, friendly pets are allowed in Lot A ONLY, in air conditioned campers ONLY! Your pet can't leave your campsite, and should be in the motorhome or camper except for potty breaks. But if you have the air conditioned RV to accommodate Spot, feel free to bring him. No pets in tent camping spots. We reserve the right to refuse entry to large, unfriendly and/or menacing pets - and we will!
Please note that South Bend, IN is now on the same time (Eastern Daylight Savings) as Michigan!
No checks or credit cards accepted at the ticket gate.
All tickets and camping available at the gate; we do not sell out! |

CAMPING INFO
NEW PET POLICY! Pets are NOT allowed in tent camping spots, or in Lot B. However, if you have an air conditioned RV and camp in Lot A, you can keep your small, friendly pet in your camper for the weekend. We reserve the right to refuse entry to any pet we deem too large, unfriendly and/or menacing.
To better enforce the NO FIREWORKS and NO GLASS CONTAINERS rules, there will be a vehicle search at the main gate Wednesday thru Friday. All vehicles are subject to search. See complete list of weekend rules below.
Search Policy: Vehicles will be searched by security staff upon entry to the property Wednesday through Saturday. If any fireworks, glass containers or other prohibited items are found, you may remove them from the property yourself or we will dispose of them for you.
There are two camping areas. "Lot A" is for families and amateur racers. Anyone under 18 must camp in this lot. A reasonable noise level "quiet time" is enforced throughout the weekend in Lot A.
"Lot B" is basically the party lot; the camping area on the north side of the road across from LaRocco's Leap. No one under 18 will be permitted in this lot, even with a parent. No race bikes in Lot B. Quiet time enforced at midnight Friday and Saturday in Lot B.
LOT A camping is available for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
LOT B camping is available Friday and Saturday nights.
The gates are opening Wednesday and Thursday nights as part of the amateur racing program. ONLY LOT A WILL BE OPEN ON WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHTS. Lot B’ers should not show up until Friday morning. You won’t be able to come in Thursday and camp in Lot A, then move up to Lot B on Friday.
No camping available Sunday night.
There are no electric, water or sewer hookups. However, a sewage pump truck and a clean water fill truck will be servicing the camping areas throughout the weekend. (These are independant service providers who will charge a separate fee.)
We will park you, as you arrive, in the next available space in the lot of your choice. You will not be able to save spots for people who will arrive later.
LOT A PASS HOLDERS MAY NOT ENTER LOT B at any time on Friday, or Saturday night after the races.
Enjoy the professional fireworks show at dark on Friday and Saturday nights.
Remember, the main gate will close overnight each night. There will be no exceptions and no parking on the road near the track entrance. Please plan your arrival time accordingly. (Of course you’ll be able to leave overnight if you need to.)
